Happy Birthday, Dunwich Horror

It was 42 years ago today that the film version of H.P. Lovecraft’s THE DUNWICH HORROR was unleashed upon moviegoers. It stars Dean Stockwell (of QUANTUM LEAP fame) as Wilbur Whately, who wishes to bring the rule of the Old Ones (Cthulhu & company) about once more, by finding the right girl to bear them into the world. He finds Nancy Wagner (Sandra Dee) and chooses her. A Professor from Arkham University, Dr. Armitage (Ed Begley), tries his best to protect her. He does his best to fight off the seemingly other worldly assaults. Something is indeed not right here. You should check it out.
