Happy 50th Anniversary, Bros. Grimm, But Sorry – No DVD For You.

Wow.

I can’t believe that it’s already August.

I can’t believe that it was back in January, that I posted about the need to get George Pal’s WONDERFUL WORLD OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM (1962) on DVD.

I can’t believe that today is the 50th anniversary of the release of the film, and we STILL don’t have a definitive release on DVD (let alone Blu Ray).

I already wrote at length about the need for the release in the aforementioned January post, so I won’t bore you with it again, aside from how disappointed I am about this. We really need to get this and the rest of Pal’s films on DVD, so we can share it with the next generation of dreamers. Because if George Pal was anything, he was a dreamer, and we surely need as many of them as we can get.
