Accompanied by one of the most popular TV themes ever (written by Henry Mancini, no less), Craig Stevens embodied coolness as sophisticated private detective PETER GUNN for three seasons (1958-1961). He also played the character in a feature film, Blake Edwards’ GUNN (1967). Edwards created the series, as well. In the realm of Imagi-Movies, Stevens fought against Nathan Juran’s THE DEADLY MANTIS (1957) and Curtis Harrington’s KILLER BEES (1974). On TV, he also portrayed Walter Carson, the boss of Dr. Daniel Westin (David McCallum) on THE INVISIBLE MAN (1975 ). Craig Stevens passed away thirteen years ago today. Movies The Dragon Remembers...
